.....Unknown Pattern Quilt....
Unknown pattern quilt, none of my books or software have the name of this quilt block, I purchased it at an Estate Auction, I was told who made the quilt by one of the heirs, it was constructed by her great-grandmother and would coincide with the early 1900's.

.....Late 1800's Tulip or Lily Basket Quilt...This Quilt came from an Estate Auction and had been stored in a Trunk, it was one of those items, I felt bad about bidding on, when I bid at an Estate Auction, I always ask the Family Members if they want certain items at the Sale, if they do, I won't and don't bid, I think the family should have family items they want, so, I asked the lady that was selling her parents possessions, if she wanted or if any other family members wanted any quilts, and she told me no. Her reason, she has diabetes and had both legs removed well above the knees, she told me--she didn't have any place to keep any of her parents or ancestors possessions because they (husband and her) had to move to a handicap accessible apartment.

.....Late 30's Crazy Patchwork...Late 30's Crazy Patchwork Comfort--Cover, I'm estimating the age of this Patchwork, it could be older, I purchased it at an Estate Auction and the lady that had it, probably made it in the late 30's, or it could have been started by her mother and finished at a later date. It's constructed of men's ties, some of them have frayed with age, it makes a very unusual Crazy Patchwork Cover, the Ties are joined in 11" finished blocks, with several velvet blocks with hand embroidered birds and flowers, appliqued to the 11" blocks. A Velvet block in the Center has the Initial W or M embroidered on it. The ladies last name began with a W, but turned upside down it looks like M also and would look correct either way.
Fan Quilt...30's Fan Quilt with all Feedsack Prints, I love Feedsack Quilts and this would be my favorite except, the lady that pieced it, used her new 1591 Singer, from the 40's, to machine quilt it, she did a horrible job, or I'm too picky. I'm guessing she bought the Black 1591 Singer in the late 40's and was quite proud of it, therefore she used it to do the quilting. It also has a general staining, a rust color that isn't noticeable, until you really inspect the quilt, plus the binding isn't on this one. It has some very unusual feedsack prints in it.

...Feedsack Print Quilt...30's Feedsack Print Quilt, if you read the description for the previous Quilt, #mbs80-2, then I have a repeat of the info for this quilt, except a different pattern, she did bind this one, but again, I don't think she did a good job, the binding is frayed in places, not from wear, but from uneven stitching and not catching the turned under edge. This quilt also has some very unusual feedsack prints, a lot of animal prints.
..........String Look Pieced Quilt....This Quilt is pieced in strips, with different shapes pieces in each strip, it's pieced with a variety of fabrics, the fabrics look like the late 30's --early 40's. Machine pieced and Hand Quilted, the overall condition is good, with a few frayed places, the binding is in good condition, no frays, the size is 82x140.
..........30's Yellow, White, and Apricot Quilt.....I love this Quilt and if I sell it, I'll probably regret it, again it was purchased at an Estate Auction, this was a Quilt of Necessity, the fabrics still have some of the printing showing from the feed sack, just a plain 9 patch pattern with a plain square, I think it's machine pieced and it's hand quilted. Size 82x134
..........Late 1800's Quilt.....Sometimes I don't notice the fabrics in a Quilt until I start to write a description, as I examined this one closely, I realized the fabrics in this one are OLD, I think they're from the late 1800's, it's in good condition for a quilt that age. It does have a few frayed places in the top and the binding has some fraying. The size is 94x156

..........Crazy Patchwork Tied Comfort.....The Comfort is in excellent condition, it has a blue flannel backing, it's from the late 40's--early 50's.

..........Postage Stamp Quilt Top.....Postage Stamp Quilt Top, hand pieced in excellent condition, the maker used mainly feedsack fabrics, the size--63x72
..........Late 1800's Quilt Top.....The fabrics tell the age of this quilt top, definitely late 1800's, it has many indigo fabrics, there are several frayed spots in this top. Size 42 x 82
