Stamped designs or other figures can be easily followed and a very attractive ornamentation produced.

"Singer Fagoter #121255 used to make fagoting, lace-like bandings, edgings, braid and lattice trim in great variety, combining the fascination and art of handwork with the speed and accuracy of machine production. The Fagoter consists of an adjustable guide with prongs on which cord may be woven in any desired design, and a special foot for stitching it to stay lines to hold the design in shape. Either straight or tapered fagoting may be made. A stripper lifts the fagoting off the prongs after it is stitched." In quotes taken from a Book for Teachers of Home Ec and has a Copyright of 1915-1948.
