The pleasure of making smart, well fitting clothes for yourself, and attractive draperies, slip covers and other furnishings for your home, is amply increased by anything that adds to the ease and speed of construction...Modern Singer Electric machines, that operate smoothly and quietly by the slightest pressure of the knee, have made the actual stitching a matter of a few effortless minutes...Now the Singer "Style-O-Matic" removes the last vestige of tediousness--the making of those professional touches that add a smart finish to the garment...Binding, Gathering, Edge-Stitching, Tucking--in all seventeen different kinds of finishes--actually flow from your machine with amazing ease...The machine does the work, leaving nothing to mar the pleasure of creating and developing your attractive garment. The following pages tell how this new "Style-O-Matic" presser foot makes finishing a pleasure--not a task."
Generic Automatic Embroidery Attachment, this is a small piece that slips on a Regular Presser Foot and has a groove for thread or braid, which is held in place as the machine stitches it on the Fabric.
Singer Embroidery Attachment, this Attachment, in connection with Singer Sewing Machines for Family Use, and using silk twist, chenille or silver or gold thread, forms upon the fabric a series of connected circles, each of which is fastened by a stitch of the needle thread. Stamped designs or other figures can be easily followed and a very attractive ornamentation produced.
"Singer Fagoter #121255 used to make fagoting, lace-like bandings, edgings, braid and lattice trim in great variety, combining the fascination and art of handwork with the speed and accuracy of machine production. The Fagoter consists of an adjustable guide with prongs on which cord may be woven in any desired design, and a special foot for stitching it to stay lines to hold the design in shape. Either straight or tapered fagoting may be made. A stripper lifts the fagoting off the prongs after it is stitched."
